Vacancy Details for AP Staff Nurse Recruitment
According to the notification (page 3), a total of 150 vacancies have been announced for Staff Nurse posts under the General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) / B.Sc Nursing qualification.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) or B.Sc Nursing
- Registration with A.P. Nursing Council (APNMC) or equivalent

Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 42 years (as on 01 March 2026)
Age relaxation:
- SC/ST/BC/EWS: 5 years
- Ex-servicemen: 3 years (plus service period)

Selection Process for AP Staff Nurse Recruitment
The selection will be based on a merit system (total 100 marks):
- 75% weightage: Academic marks
- Up to 10 marks: Experience after qualification
- Up to 15% weightage: Contract/outsourcing service
Additional weightage is provided based on work area:
- Tribal area: Higher marks
- Rural area: Moderate marks
- Urban area: Lower marks

Special Weightage for COVID-19 Service

- Candidates who worked during COVID-19 on contract/honorarium basis will receive additional weightage
