WBBPE Primary Teacher Interview Notice 2026: West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has released a notification for the resume of holding Interview/Viva-Voce Examination and Aptitude Test.
The West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) has officially released the schedule for the next phases of the Interview/Viva-Voce Examination and Aptitude Test under the Primary Teacher Recruitment 2025 process. The notification was issued on 12 March 2026, informing candidates about the revised interview dates and required documents.
With reference to our earlier Notification No. 583/WBBPE/2026/398-09/2024, date-27.02.2026, it is hereby notified for information to all concerned that due to some unavoidable circumstances the Next Phases of Interview/Viva-Voce Examinations and Aptitude Tests will take place as per the following new schedule for Bengali medium candidates from the following districts and in the following Venue.
The board stated that due to unavoidable circumstances, the upcoming phases of interviews and aptitude tests for Bengali medium candidates from several districts will be conducted according to a newly announced schedule.
2026 WBBPE Primary Teacher Interview Schedule for Upcoming Phases:
According to the notification, interviews will be conducted in multiple phases for candidates from different districts. The schedule is as follows:

Candidates must appear before the interview board on the assigned dates with all required documents.

This location will serve as the central venue for candidates appearing in the upcoming phases of the recruitment process.
Documents Required for the Interview
Candidates appearing for the interview must carry both original documents and self-attested photocopies. Important documents include:
- Interview call letter downloaded from the WBBPE portal
- TET qualification certificate or eligibility proof
- Madhyamik admit card or certificate for age verification
- Madhyamik and Higher Secondary mark sheets and certificates
- D.El.Ed., D.Ed., or B.El.Ed. training qualification documents
- Graduation certificates (if applicable)
- Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates
- EWS certificate (if applicable)
- Exempted category certificate issued by the competent authority
- Ex-servicemen certificate, if applicable
- Para-teacher engagement and experience certificates
- Co-curricular or extracurricular certificates
- Voter ID or Aadhaar card
- One passport-size photograph
Officials have clarified that candidates found ineligible during verification will not be allowed to participate in the interview or aptitude test.
