Category-wise fee structure:
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000 per paper
- SC / ST: ₹500 per paper
- PwD: ₹300 per paper
Candidates applying for both Paper I and Paper II must pay separately for each.
Eligibility Criteria for fill up the UPTET 2026 Application Form
For Primary Level (Class 1–5)
- Graduation + D.El.Ed / BTC
OR - Graduation + B.Ed (with conditions)
OR - 4-year integrated B.El.Ed
For Upper Primary Level (Class 6–8)
- Graduation + B.Ed
OR - Graduation + D.El.Ed
OR - Integrated teacher education programs
Candidates in the final year of their training courses can also apply.

UPTET consists of two papers:
Paper I (Primary)

- Language I – 30 marks
- Language II – 30 marks
- Mathematics – 30 marks
- Environmental Studies – 30 marks
Paper II (Upper Primary)
- Child Development & Pedagogy – 30 marks

- Math/Science or Social Studies – 60 marks
- Total Questions: 150
- Total Marks: 150
- Duration: 150 minutes
- No negative marking
Qualifying Marks
- General Category: 60% (90 marks)
- Reserved Categories: 55% (82 marks)
