I am Syed Mosharaf Hossain, a dedicated educator, social innovator, and researcher, currently serving as the Principal of Purbasthali II Government ITI, West Bengal. My mission is to integrate technical education with innovation and empathy to empower a skilled and socially responsible generation.
My academic journey is rooted in Electronics and Communication Engineering, holding an M.Tech and B.Tech from MAKAUT and a Diploma from WBSCTVESD.
My passion for technology and social impact led to the creation of a Smart Shoe for Women’s Safety—a wearable device equipped with GPS, GSM, SOS alerts, voice control, and an electric shock mechanism for self-defense. This innovation has earned national and global acclaim:

As Principal, I have introduced digital classrooms, Metaverse-based learning, and career-focused development programs to bridge the gap between education and real-world needs. I’ve also contributed as a Skill Trainer at Gobindapur Sephali Samaj Seba Samity, training youth in mobile repair, CCTV, hardware, electrical wiring, and basic computing.
Recently, I was honored as “Principal of the Year” by a regional forum for my contributions to skill-based learning.
