Indian Carbon Market Portal: India took a major step forward in its climate action journey as the Union Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, inaugurated the Prakriti 2026 International Conference on Carbon Markets and launched the Indian Carbon Market Portal.
The flagship event, organised by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Ministry of Power and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, is being held as part of the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 in New Delhi.
