Eligibility Criteria for Cochin Shipyard Limited Recruitment
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have either:
- 3-year Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
OR - ITI (NTC) in trades like Welder, Electrician, Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Plumber, etc.
Higher qualifications like B.Tech or M.Sc will not be considered.
Work Experience
- Diploma Holders: Minimum 7 years experience
- ITI Holders: Minimum 15 years experience
Experience must be in:
- Shipbuilding / Ship repair
- Engineering or logistics companies
- Marine or offshore industries
- Government or semi-government organizations
Additionally:
- Diploma candidates need 2 years supervisory experience
- ITI candidates need 3 years supervisory experience
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will be placed in TS1 grade with an attractive salary package:
- Basic Pay: ₹28,000
- DA: ₹14,952
- HRA: ₹2,800
- Allowances: ₹9,800
Total Monthly Salary: ₹55,552 (approx.)

Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in two phases:
Phase I: Written Test

- Descriptive Test (40 marks)
