Job Responsibilities
The selected Advisor will:
- Mentor and guide in-house design and development teams
- Support analysis and conceptualization of communication requirements
- Assist in interoperability requirements with legacy communication systems
- Guide testing, integration, and evaluation processes
This is a high-level advisory role focusing on research and development within BEL’s defence communication projects.
Duration of Engagement for BEL Hiring
- Initial engagement: 1 year
- Extendable yearly up to maximum 3 years
- Or until the candidate attains 68 years of age, whichever is earlier
Extension depends on business requirements.
Salary & Benefits
Remuneration
- Consolidated salary equal to the last basic pay drawn at the time of superannuation
- On extension, remuneration increases by 5% per extended year (excluding conveyance component)
Conveyance
- BEL provides transport facility
- If not utilized, reimbursement of ₹8,000 per month
TA/DA
- As per equivalent Executive Director / General Manager grade norms
Accommodation
- Guest House facility (subject to availability)
- Hotel stay as per TA/DA rules if Guest House unavailable
