C4I stands for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence. These systems are critical in defence operations for secure communication, coordination, and real-time decision-making.
The selected Advisor will provide expert guidance in the development, testing, commissioning, and validation of advanced C4I systems.
Job Responsibilities for BEL Advisor (C4I Systems) Hiring 2026
The Advisor will:
- Mentor in-house design and development teams
- Provide guidance in requirement analysis and system conceptualization
- Assist in finalizing operational and functional requirements
- Offer expertise in cyber security integration
- Liaise with Indian Armed Forces at appropriate levels
- Support futuristic C4I system development projects
This is a strategic advisory role with high operational importance.
Tenure of Engagement
- Initial engagement: 1 year
- Extendable annually up to 3 years
- Or until the candidate reaches 65 years of age, whichever is earlier
- Extension depends on business requirements
Minimum 8 working days per month must be spent at the Unit/Office/On-site location.
Salary & Benefits
Remuneration
- Consolidated salary equal to the last basic pay drawn at the time of superannuation
- 5% increment per year in case of extension (excluding conveyance component)
- Additional 5% enhancement possible for relevant post-retirement experience (subject to management approval)
Conveyance
- Company transport facility
- Or ₹8,000 per month reimbursement if transport not used
TA/DA
- As applicable to GM/ED Grade
Accommodation
- Guest House accommodation (subject to availability)
- Hotel stay as per TA/DA norms if Guest House unavailable
Important Conditions
- Applicant must be clear from vigilance/disciplinary angle
- Must sign confidentiality-cum-non-compete agreement
- Must be willing to relocate anywhere in India
