DRDO DRL Recruitment 2026: DEFENCE RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION, DEFENCE RESEARCH LABORATORY (DRL, DRDO), TEZPUR, ASSAM ON 07/04/2026 (JRF) and 08/04/2026 (RA), has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellows and Research Associates.

Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates with the desired qualification for the posts of JRF and RA to work in ongoing and future research projects at DRL, Tezpur (DRDO). Number of vacancies: JRF- 09 Nos and RA- 06 Nos.

Educational Qualification

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in relevant disciplines such as:

• Pharmaceutics
• Pharmacology
• Pharmaceutical Chemistry
• Biotechnology
• Microbiology
• Life Sciences
• Zoology
• Environmental Sciences
• Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry

Candidates must also qualify in NET, GATE, or GPAT, depending on the discipline.

Research Associate (RA)

Candidates applying for RA positions must hold a Ph.D. in relevant scientific fields, including:

• Textile Chemistry or Textile Engineering
• Horticulture

Specialized experience such as NGS nucleic acid sequencing, polymer analysis, and post-harvest technology may be preferred for some posts.
