Offline applications are invited for vacancies of Tenure-based CPW (Chemical Process Worker) Personnel on CONTRACT BASIS to work in Ordnance Factory Itarsi, Dist. Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, initially for a period of ONE year which may be extended up to a maximum period of FOUR years from the date of engagement (including initial period) based on factory requirement and individual performance.

Vacancy Distribution for Indian Ordnance Factory Recruitment 2026:

The notification mentions the following category-wise vacancy distribution.

Total vacancies available are 265 positions.

Educational Qualification for Indian Ordnance Factory Recruitment:

Certification:- NCVT (i.e. candidates having National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCTVT now NCVT or NCVET)

Trade: – AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant)

Feeder Trades: – IMСР, ММСР, LACP, PPO, Fitter General, Machinist, Turner, Sheet Metal Worker, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, Mechanic Industrial Electronics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.

Apprentices of AOCP trade and above-mentioned Feeder Trades from Ordnance Factories and Govt./Private organizations having affiliation from Government possessing NAC Certificate issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) or NCVET will be considered for Tenure Based CPW.

Age Limit:

Between 18 and 40 years as on 27/03/2026 (i.e. 21 days from if published on 07/03/2026) SC/ST for General Category of Candidates. Age relaxation, as admissible will be given to OBC-NCL, & Ex-Serviceman candidates as under:

Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per government rules.

• OBC (NCL): 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: as per service rules.

Salary Amount/ Remuneration:

Selected candidates will receive:

• Basic Pay: ₹19,900 per month
• Dearness Allowance (DA) as applicable

Employees may also receive other benefits including:

• Leave facilities
• Safety equipment
• Night shift allowance
• Risk allowance (if applicable).

However, tenure employees will not receive housing allowance or certain regular employee benefits.

Selection Process:

1. Merit list based on NAC marks
2. NCVT examination marks considered for evaluation
3. Trade test or practical test may be conducted
4. Document verification for shortlisted candidates.

Final selection will depend on combined marks obtained in qualification and trade tests.
