Posts Available & Vacancies for NLC India Recruitment 2026
NLC India Limited is hiring for the following Group C statutory posts:
1️⃣ Junior Overman (Trainee) – S1 Grade
- Total Posts: 03
- Pay Scale: ₹31,000 – ₹1,00,000
- Approx. Annual CTC: ₹8.64 Lakhs
2️⃣ Mining Sirdar (Selection Grade-I) – SG1 Grade
- Total Posts: 05
- Pay Scale: ₹26,000 – ₹1,10,000
- Approx. Annual CTC: ₹7.25 Lakhs
Both positions are based at the Barsingsar Project, Rajasthan. However, selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India or abroad under NLCIL operations.
Educational Qualification
For Junior Overman (Trainee):
- Diploma in Mining / Mining Engineering (recognized by AICTE/DGMS)
- Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency from DGMS
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Minimum 60% marks (UR/OBC-NCL), 50% (SC/ST)
For Mining Sirdar:
- Diploma/Degree (non-mining discipline) + Mining Sirdar Certificate
OR - Diploma in Mining + Overman Competency Certificate
- Valid First Aid Certificate
⚠ Proficiency in Hindi (local language) is mandatory.
Age Limit (As on 01 February 2026)

Salary & Benefits

Selection Process for NLC India Recruitment
Selection will be based on a Written Test (100 marks).
Exam Pattern:
- 30 Questions – General Aptitude (Quantitative, Reasoning, Awareness)
- 70 Questions – Subject Knowledge
- Total Duration: 120 minutes
- No Negative Marking
- English language only
Minimum qualifying marks:
- 50% for UR
- 40% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL (against reserved vacancies)
Special Bonus:
Project Affected Persons (PAPs) may receive 20 bonus marks (as per eligibility conditions mentioned in the notification).
