Eligibility Criteria for BEL New Vacancy
Educational Qualification
- Trainee Engineer-I:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc – 4 years) in relevant discipline with Pass Class from a recognized university or institute. - Trainee Officer-I (Finance):
MBA in Finance with Pass Class.
Candidates in final year or awaiting results are NOT eligible.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
- General / EWS: Maximum 28 years
- OBC (NCL): +3 years
- SC / ST: +5 years
- PwBD: +10 years (additional)
Terms of Engagement & Remuneration
Selected candidates will be initially appointed for two years, extendable up to three years based on project requirements and performance.
Monthly Remuneration
- Trainee Engineer/Officer-I: ₹30,000/-
- Additional Benefits:
- Area Allowance @ 10%
- ₹12,000/- per year for insurance, uniform, footwear, etc.
Selection Procedure
- Pre-registered Walk-in Selection
- Written Test only (100 marks)
- General/EWS/OBC: 35% qualifying marks
- SC/ST/PwBD: 30% qualifying marks
- Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Registration must be completed before Written Test date.
