Online applications are hereby invited from eligible and suitable candidates wishing to participate in this examination, from April 21, 2026, to May 21, 2026.
For those candidates who had previously submitted their applications—along with the requisite application fee—in pursuance of the earlier Notification No. 30/2024, it shall be mandatory to re-fill and submit their application forms. In accordance with the provisions stipulated in the ‘Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test Rules, 2026,’ the aforementioned candidates are required to re-select their language preferences—specifically ‘Language-II’; in doing so, they must adhere to the Schedule annexed to the Rules and ensure that all other necessary information is accurately submitted through the portal. These applicants shall not be required to pay any additional fee.

Jharkhand JHTET 2026 Notification Out: JHTET 2026 Exam Levels
There are two levels of the exam:
Level 1 (Primary Teacher)
- For classes 1 to 5
Level 2 (Upper Primary Teacher)
- For classes 6 to 8
Candidates can apply for both levels if eligible.
